(Pixel.Indo) Siapa yang tidak tahu J.Rocks? Ya, mungkin hampir semua anak muda tahu tentang band yang satu ini, band perawakan Iman (vocal), Sony (gitar), Wima (bass), dan Anton (drum). Mereka menganut aliran jepang yang sukses dengan album pertamanya melalui single Berharap Kau Kembali dan Kono Mune Ni dalam versi jepang. Serta single lainnya yaitu Cahayamu, Ceria, Entah Bagaimana, Into The Silent, Ku Ingin Kau Untukku, Lepaskan Diriku, Mestinya Ku Akhiri Semua, Selamat Tinggal Kekasihku, Serba Salah, dan Topeng Sahabat.

J.Rocks adalah band yang tidak mengenal lelah dalam mengarangesment musik mereka. Dalam 1 lagu, mereka punya seribu arangsment. Semua itu terbayar dengan keluarnya album ke-2 mereka serta berhasilnya mereka dalam sebuah kompetisi band dan berhasil memenangkan tiket rekaman di studio ternama di London, Abbey Road.

Tak lepas dari style J.Rocks yang serba Harajuku “Japanese Style”, ternyata ada satu band kecil yang sangat terinspirasi oleh band kesayangan mereka “J.Rocks”.

“Chibis~rocks”, band keluaran tahun 2007 asal Semarang ini memang pertamanya hanya sebuah band kecil dalam suatu lingkup sekolah. Personilnya pun hanyalah teman-teman satu kelas mereka. Hanya bermodalkan nekat dan inspirasinya terhadap band J.Rocks, mereka selalu aktif dengan mengikuti berbagai kompetisi ataupun festival band.

Band yang dimotori oleh Ajie (bass), harus berjalan hingga saat ini dengan berbagai halang melintang seperti kerapnya pergantian personil. Berbagai pengalaman bermusik mereka akhirnya terdengar beberapa teman yang ingin bergabung dalam band ini.

Akhirnya dengan perawakan Wulan (vocal), Hayat (gitar), Ajie (bass), dan Agha (drum) mereka mengawali kerja keras bersama melalui single pertama dan kedua yang berjudul “Biarkan Aku” dan “Tanpamu”.

Jika dilihat dari segi kemampuan individual masing-masing personil, dapat terbukti dengan kerapnya membawakan lagu-lagu J.Rocks dengan arangesment yang berbeda dan berwarna. Dalam arangesment, mereka mengaku mendapatkan inspirasi dari beberapa band-band Jepang, maupun lokal.

Meski masih dengan biaya sendiri dalam latihan sampai dengan rekaman, mereka pun akhirnya bisa puas dapat berkarya melalui single sendiri dan tidak perlu membawakan lagu-lagu karya band kesayangan mereka lagi, J.Rocks. Namun J.Rocks tetaplah menjadi panutan mereka.

Inilah J.Rockstar yang ingin mewujudkan angan dan mimpinya. “Meski harus dengan biaya sendiri, tapi marilah kita Meraih Mimpi”, ucap mereka serentak dengan canda tawa. (Pixel.Indo) Namara Surtikanti alias Kikan mantan vokalis "Cokelat" yang telah hengkang pada bulan Maret 2010 lalu dari grup band yang membesarkan namanya tersebut. Setelah beberapa bulan ini, ternyata Kikan sibuk jadi pengamen! Kenapa yah?! Cekidott deh!!

Saat ditemui, Kikan pun baru selesai "mengamen". Ia mengisi acara Java Rockin'Land untuk menyanyikan lagu-lagu Alanis Morissette dan The Cranberries.

Gini lho... ternyata band Indonesia Zivillia melalui tembangnya yang laris berjudul "Aishiteru" dikabarkan adalah hasil jiplakan lagu Jepang "Koko Ni Iru Yo by Soulja".
