Utada "First Love"

On December 9, 1998, Utada Hikaru debuted with the release of a new single titled Automatic / time will from tell. Outside estimates, this single made Hikki, which according to comments his classmates, became famous in one night. Total selling singles, released in 8cm and 12cm version is so amazing, that is 2.063 million bits (but because they are calculated as two different products, the single has only been ranked # 2 and # 4). Within two months, re Hikki released a single titled Movin 'on without you to back sold exceeds one million copies and became the first single Hikki who occupied # 1 on the Oricon charts (like the Japanese version of Billboard). Unlike the Japanese singer who usually release 3-4 singles before releasing an album, Hikki released her debut album with just one month break from the single second. The album, entitled First Love was immediately shot to # 1 and slowly sold up to 9.86 million copies worldwide, making it the highest selling album with music along the course of history in Japan and hinga this record now appears to not be solved. A month after the album was released, a single called First Love was released. As a single that was released after the release of albums, singles achieve satisfactory sales ie 800 000 bits and to this day remains a mandatory song in karaoke-Japanese karaoke. In the same year, Hikki is also a duet with famous Japanese singer Shiina Ringo singing "I Will not Last A Day Without You belong to The Carpenters.
