Utada "Single Collection"

After her marriage, Hikki reduce its activities in Japan and concentrate on his English album. Because of this, single-single release to be rare. But Hikki had released a single called COLORS in 2003 and a DVD called UH Live Stream 20 dai wa ike ike!

In March 2004, Hikki released an album with the title of Best Single Collection Vol.1. The album sold 2.40 million copies and became the only 'best of' album which managed to occupy the # 1 in the last four years. Hikki fans worried that this is a farewell album from Hikki, but this was ignored by a single called dareka no negai ga kanau koro (when someone's expectations materialize), which became the OST from the movie landing Hikki husband, Kiriya Kazuaki, who titled CASSHERN and a concert tour Small named Hikaru no 5 as the fifth anniversary Hikki's career in the Japanese scene.
